Saturday Sessions: Learn AI skilltrees
HOW to learn AI
Happy Weekend!
Apologies for being a little quiet the last few days.
I’m moving countries next week and the moving process has got in the way of the regular Livestreams and content.
Who’d have thought an international move would get in the way eh? 😅
Now…I was just going to take a week off the emails. But I felt bad about doing so.
So instead I’ve built you an entire AI Progression Skill-tree…
For those of you who aren’t mega-nerds like myself a skill-tree is a way of displaying a progression of skills and abilities in a video game.
Probably one of the best known non videogame skill tress out there is Duolingo:

Unsurprisingly Luis von Ahn (the creator of Duolingo) is an avid video game player.
Duolingo and other similar tools use “gamification” to make learning more interesting. Basically these gamified elements make it more likely people will stick to the process.
The purpose of skill trees in particular is to break a complicated learning process up into smaller bitesized components. And to give the learner a route through an otherwise complicated process like learning Mandarin.
I get a lot of people asking “how do I learn AI?”
That is a MASSIVE question. And one to which I didn’t have a good answer honestly…
AI is a huge HUGE subject. It’s a bit like asking “how do I learn computers?”
But me saying “I dunno just get started” isn’t very helpful.
So I got to work (instead of, you know, packing…).

I’ve got v1 of the project live. Totally free for subscribers of course.
The basic idea though is to take you through the Levels of AI. All the way from downloading ChatGPT to the first time to deploying and tuning your own models.
I’ve designed this to be hyper practical rather than theory based but I’ve created a parallel “AI knowledge” track for those who want to know a little more about what’s happening behind the scenes.

It’s all available here: https://aiwithkyle.com/ai-ready
You can access it without logging in. Or log in so you can save your progress.
This is very much a work in progress. You are seeing version 1.0. Not even that. This is very much an early access project! So any and all feedback is welcome (I’ve added a feedback tool to the site itself)!
Next week’s emails will be connected to this tool as well - basically guiding you through the Levels of AI and helping you level up!
No livestreams next week though - should be resuming on the 13th April once settled!
Have an amazing week!
Kyle
