Hey Prompt Entrepreneur,
I remember the exact moment everything changed for me.
I'd been posting AI content for about four or five months. Grinding away, posting daily, seeing slow but steady growth. Wanting to give up every few days.
Then I posted a simple TikTok about “how to use ChatGPT” - nothing revolutionary, just a straightforward tutorial. One take. Just chatting to camera.
The video hit 500K views overnight.
Then several million over the weekend.
And I had no idea why it was this particularly video. I’ve since talked to other content creators who “blew up” and they all say the same thing. They’d have a piece of content kick off out of the blue after them putting in the work steadily for months (or even years).
And for all of them it changes their lives.
What you are building isn't just followers - it’s a distribution engine that opens doors.
Let's get started:

Why audience remains your most valuable business asset
The brutal truth about getting your first 1K followers

Audience Growth Makes Everything Easier
Now, you might be wondering why I'm reiterating audience building when we covered this in Week 2.
Here's why: because this is the most important business asset you can grow moving forward. Everything else - your product, your systems, your revenue - can be replicated. Your audience cannot.
Remember the cycle I mentioned earlier this week? Create → Build audience → Launch easier → Better partnerships → More revenue → Create better → Repeat.
That cycle only works if you have the distribution infrastructure in place. Without audience, you're starting from zero every single time. With audience, each iteration gets easier because you have people who already trust you and are waiting to see what you build next. It’s basically the glue that holds everything else together.
Real examples of how audience changes everything:
Launching becomes easier. Instead of cold outreach and paid ads, you have people genuinely excited about what you're building. My £500k+ revenue last year? Almost entirely from the audience I built through content. We are only just experimenting with paid advertising now. There has been no need.
Partnerships find you. When you're highly visible in your niche, other businesses approach you for collaborations. I get 2-3 partnership requests weekly now - opportunities I never would have known existed without audience. I don’t have to chase them.
Credibility accelerates. Being "the AI person" in your space means people assume you know what you're talking about. That assumption opens conversations that would take months to earn otherwise. Basically you no longer have to kick doors open. They are already open when you get to them!
Ideas validate faster. Post a concept, get immediate feedback. No need for expensive market research when your audience tells you exactly what they want. I’ve written a whole playbook on just this - the ability to rapid fire test (and terminate!) ideas without having to fully commit to a launch.
The compound effect is real, but it's invisible while you're building it. And it feels REALLY hard. That's why most people quit before the magic happens.
This extra lesson is basically a reminder of what we covered in Week 2 to reiterate the importance!!
Stay in the Game until 1,000 Followers
This is crucial: do not chase shiny objects now.
You're 48 days in. You've built momentum. You understand your market. You have content that works.
You’ve been (I hope) posting regularly. If you haven’t btw don’t worry. That doesn’t mean you have failed and it’s time to give up. Nope. Quite the opposite. Now is the best time for you to start posting again. And this time you won’t stop right?
We are basically going to continue as we are until we hit 1,000 followers. That’s the first benchmark.
Any particular reason? Not really. It’s a round number. 4 figures. It seems significant.
In the groups I’m in we tend to celebrate 1,000, 10,000, 100,000 as big goals. They just feel right. And that 1,000 is your first goal to hit.
To do this you need to stay the course and keep doing what is working. The worst thing you could do right now is start over with a different strategy, platform, or niche.
I see this constantly - entrepreneurs who build for months, start seeing results, then get distracted by some new approach or platform. They abandon their progress to chase the next "hack." Nope - keep doing what works.
What to ignore:
New AI tools promising to automate your content
Different platforms where "all the growth is happening now"
Gurus selling "viral growth secrets"
Advice to pivot because someone else's niche looks easier
What to double down on:
The content types that got engagement
The platform where you're already building
The niche where you're establishing authority
The posting schedule you can actually maintain
There are no shortcuts. None. I'm sorry, but it's just a grind. If it’s any consolation I’m now repeating the grind on other platforms like Instagram and Youtube which were not priorities!
You'll post daily for months feeling like you're talking to yourself. You'll create content that gets 12 views and wonder why you're bothering. You'll see others blow up overnight (with worse content) and question everything you're doing.
This is normal. This is the price of admission.
But here's what I promise you: there will be a post that pops off and takes you there. One video, one piece of content that catches the algorithm at the right moment and introduces you to thousands of new people. You can't predict when it happens, but consistency makes it inevitable. Basically by showing up and doing the work.
My breakthrough came after four months of daily posting. Some people hit it in six weeks. Others take eight months. But everyone who sticks with it eventually gets their moment. There’s some examples of people who stuck with it on this page, and their results.
From 1K to 100K: The Experiment Phase
Let’s look beyond. Some of you will have hit 1,000 already. And for those who aren’t there quite yet here’s a preview.
Once you hit 1K followers, everything changes. You're no longer just proving (to yourself mainly!) you can create content - you're optimising for scale. This is where smart experimentation becomes crucial.
Why experiments matter at each stage:
1K-5K: Content Format Experiments You have enough audience to get meaningful data on what works. Prior to this we didn’t really have enough audience in play for our data to mean much of anything. Test different content lengths, posting times, and formats. The key insight: don't just look at views, look at profile visits and follows. Views are vanity, we want engagement. A video with 50K views that generates 10 new followers is worse than a video with 10K views that generates 100 new followers.
Experiment to run: Post the same core message in 3 different formats (for example carousel, video, text post if you are using IG) and track conversion to followers, not just engagement.
5K-20K: Collaboration Experiments Your audience is big enough that other creators want to work with you. Test different types of collaborations: joint content, guest appearances, cross-promotion. Learn which partnerships actually grow your audience vs. just borrowing someone else's.
Experiment to run: Do one collaboration per week for a month. Track follower growth, engagement changes, and audience quality. Some collabs will attract the wrong audience. This can be off your platform btw - for example podcasts. It’s a nice way to dip your toes.
20K-50K: Platform Extension Experiments Now you can afford to test new platforms because you have a proven system. Don't abandon your main platform - extend to it. Repurpose your best content and see which platforms amplify your message.
Experiment to run: Choose one new platform. Commit to 30 days of posting your top content there. Measure not just growth, but audience overlap and engagement quality. You may need to switch to new formats and content styles. Start with simple repurposing (as that’s easiest!) and if it doesn’t work begin wider experiments.
50K-100K: Premium Content Experiments Your audience is large enough to support paid offerings. Test what they'll pay for: courses, communities, workshops, consulting. Start small and scale what works. You can also start to charge reasonable (4 figure) amounts for sponsorships allowing for direct monetisation.
Experiment to run: Create a small paid offering (£20-50) and see what percentage of your audience converts. This tells you about both audience quality and commercial potential. Also experiment with sponsors that are aligned with your brand and you personally. At this sort of level you can charge a few thousand for a sponsored post making it a nice extra cash flow option.
The Long Game That Most People Quit
Think of authority building as a 2-3 year game, not a 2-3 month sprint. And remember that you are using this as the foundation for your wider business. Or even multiple businesses.
Most people expect this progression to happen in months. It takes years. Realign expectations.
Year 1: Establish consistency and competence. Post regularly, solve problems, build trust. Focus on being helpful over being famous. This is mainly about you getting into good habits and learning.
Year 2: Develop unique perspectives and deeper expertise. Start having original thoughts about industry trends. Create frameworks and methodologies. Become known for specific approaches. You’re creating IP at this point not just content for the sake of it.
Year 3: Become a thought leader who shapes conversations. People reference your ideas. Other experts cite your work. You influence how your industry thinks about AI. Start getting on stage (if you haven’t already) and expanding out your reach.
The long game wins because most people quit playing it. They see slow growth in months 3-6 and jump to a different strategy. But the compound effect only kicks in if you stay consistent long enough for it to matter. This dooms the flip-floppers to never reaching a breakthrough.
Your 48 days of building? You're still in the foundation phase. It’s an amazing start but realise that the magic happens when you keep going for months 4-12.
Your Day 48 Actions
Here's what you're doing today:
Simple one today: Keep posting.
That's it. Don't overthink it. Don't audit everything. Don't plan elaborate experiments. That comes later.
Build in Public Content
Share your audit and commitment:
""Day 48 of AI Summer Camp: The grind continues!
Still building my audience daily. No shortcuts, no hacks. And I’m ok with that.
Reminded myself today that this is the most important asset I can build. Everything else gets easier when you have distribution!
Committing to another 90 days of daily posting."
(FYI if you need assistance with what to talk about each day my AI Authority Accelerator takes everything I've learned building 250K+ followers and condenses it into a systematic 30-day program. It's designed for people who are already building but want to scale faster and smarter. Check it out if you're ready to turn your content creation into a proper growth engine.)
What's Next?
Tomorrow we’ll explore how to multiply your revenue from £1K to £10K monthly by leveraging the foundation you've built. It’s all about scaling.
Keep Prompting,
Kyle
