Today in AI: Building your Content Machine
What’s happening in the world of AI:
Highlights
The 1-Hour Content Engine

[Note: I’m giving a talk at Google’s London HQ tomorrow on this topic so put this together to help me collect my thoughts! So this is preliminary - I’ll be refining and creating more about this moving forward if you find it helpful!]
You already know you should be posting more. Every business guru, every marketing book, every podcast says the same thing: post consistently, show up everywhere, content wins. And it's true.

But it takes forever. One LinkedIn post: 30 minutes. A newsletter: 3 hours. Short-form video across platforms: a full day. Stack all of that and you've got a full-time content job. On top of running your actual business.
So most people pick one of three bad options. Hire a team (expensive, slow, still needs your constant input). Do it yourself (burnout within a month). Or post randomly and hope it's enough. It isn't.
There's a fourth option…. Build an AI-powered content system that turns a single recording into 20+ pieces of content across every platform - while your voice, opinions, and personality stay at the centre. This guide walks through the exact system I run every single day.

Why Most AI Content Is Terrible
Before we get into the system: a warning.
You've seen AI content in the wild. You can smell it. The LinkedIn posts that open with "In today's fast-paced world…" The blog articles that use a lot of words to say nothing. The tweets that feel like they were written by a committee.
It’s why I stay away from LinkedIn honestly. It’s icky!
That's what happens when you hand everything to AI and walk away.
Pure AI output is generic because there's no lived experience in it. No real opinions. No stories from your actual work. If you hand everything to AI and walk away, you get generic filler that reads like it was written by a committee.
The trick: you have to put something human IN, so something human comes OUT.

The Human-in-the-Loop Shift
This is the core principle. Your job is thinking. AI's job is production.

Your job: Opinions. Stories. Expertise. Hot takes. Your actual voice.
AI's job: Transcription. Formatting. Repurposing. SEO optimisation. Script writing.
By combining the two, you get something that's uniquely human because you're part of it — but at scale, because AI handles all the repetitive production work. That's where it gets properly powerful.
If your content is 100% AI, why should anyone do business with you? You're being lazy in your first contact with them. Why should they expect better once they become a customer?
The Content Flywheel: 1 Input. 7 Outputs. Every Day.
Here's the full system. Each stage feeds the next.
Stage 1: AI Research Agent → An overnight agent drops a daily briefing of industry news on your desk so you never stare at a blank page.

Stage 2: Record Your Thoughts (Do Not Skip) → Talk for 15-60 minutes. Voice Memos, Loom, or go live. No script. Just raw thoughts on 2-3 topics from your briefing.

Stage 3: Transcript Extraction → Run your recording through Descript, Claude, or Whisper. You want the messy, conversational transcript. The mess is where your personality lives.
Stage 4: Newsletter → Feed the raw transcript into Claude. It structures your rambling into clean email content in your voice.

Stage 5: Short-Form Video Scripts → One topic becomes 3 distinct scripts. Cover 4 topics in your recording and you've got 12 ready-to-shoot videos for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.

Stage 6: Blog Articles + SEO → Your spoken scripts become 600-800 word searchable web articles. Over months, this builds a web of connected content that search engines reward.

Stage 7: Distribution + The Loop → Everything connects. Videos drive to newsletter. Newsletter drives to blog articles and offers. Blog articles capture emails. Every viewer enters a continuous loop of your ecosystem. These connections are not A to B to C to D necessarily. They are all interconnected to allow your audience to move through based on what’s interesting for them.

The Maths

Your time: 15 minutes (one solo recording).
Output: 20+ assets. 1 newsletter, 10-20 short-form video scripts, 3-5 blog articles, endless SEO interlinking.
A volume that usually requires an entire team, powered entirely by your real thoughts.
I personally do an extreme version: one hour live every day, followed by 15 short videos, a newsletter, SEO work, blog articles, YouTube clips. That's a full media company. And I do it with a very small team thanks to AI. Don’t do that. That’s mad.
Start with a 15-minute voice note. That's enough to prime the system. Don't try to build a media company from day one. You'll burn out.
Your First Week Action Plan

Day 1: Set up your AI research agent. Use the prompt from the guide. Next morning's briefing will be waiting.
Day 2: Record your first session. 15 minutes, 2-3 topics from your briefing. Don't overthink it.
Day 3: Run the transcript through the newsletter prompt. Publish.
Day 4: Generate short-form scripts from Day 2's recording. Record 3-5 of them. Post.
Day 5: Expand one topic into a blog article. Publish on your site.
By Friday, you've built a multi-platform media engine from a single 15-minute voice note. Pretty good eh? Media empire next stop!

One Last Thing
Hormozi said it best: "Wealth is made by doing boring things for an extended period in more volume than any sane person would find reasonable."
Most people will try content, do it randomly, not see results, and give up. The results happen after the majority of people get bored and drop out. You have to be unreasonable. But you also have to be sustainable. This system makes that possible.
One recording. 15 minutes. 20+ pieces of content. Every day. That's the engine.
Build it!
Keep Prompting,
Kyle
